Bait + Switch brings together architects, designers, and artists to present works that evade our perception. Design and architecture, as of late, have been playfully reinterpreting postmodern ideas of semiotics, tectonics, and perception. In misusing, probing, and subverting symbols, functions, and structural capacities, these works stoke in their users joy, wonder, and estrangement. The works included play with their objecthood, teasing the eye, the mind, and the hand.
